Howdy, y’all! Texas does things big! We’ve seen big skies, big windmills, a big elk mount in the back of a truck, a big cross, a big canyon, and this big cowboy. Another thing big we’ve experienced is Texas nice (like Minnesota nice). Ron made a last minute lane change when he realized the GPS thought he was still on the interstate and he knew he wasn’t. The combination of our last minute lane change at a 4-way stop and our out-of-state license plates must have pointed us out as lost tourists. The guy in the lane next to us rolled down his window and asked if we needed directions. He proceeded to tell us how to get to our hotel and wished us well. Very cool!
