Okay, I am starting to feel a bit like a deer (and antelope) whisperer. I have never been as close to a live, wild animal as I have been on this trip, and two days in a row is mind-boggling. These pictures were taken on the F.E. Warren Air Force Base yesterday in Cheyenne, WY. Ron’s meeting was in a neighboring building. I explored the base a little while he was working. This antelope was eating grass between the buildings and didn’t seem to mind having its picture taken. Deer in our back yard never let me get this close. Ron says I can come deer hunting with him next year and call the deer in. I said I would if we shot them with the camera only. He reversed his invitation immediately!
